Snoop is a hex editor application, which allows you to view or edit both the reource and data forks of any file. To run Snoop, you need either an evaluation key or a registered key. Please visit our web site to either have an evaluation key autmotically mailed to you, or to order Snoop and receive a key to make snoop fully registered. The cost is $10 to obtain a registration key for Snoop.

Quick Tips:
• The small icon in the upper left corner of the document show what fork is being displayed. Click on the icon to display a popup-up menu which will allow you to switch forks.
• You can display the path of the document (if it's not a new "untitled" document) by option-clicking in the title text of the title bar.
• You can append what is selected to the clipboard by holding down the option key when selecting Cut or Copy.
Known Limitations:
• Can't open files whos size is larger that the available memory.
Possible Enhancements:
• File-based editing.
• Support for editing Finder information (type, creator, etc).
• Ability to edit individual resources in the resource fork.
• Ability to specify update time for memory documents
